First off, I want to apologize to all the readers of Tamarind. I’m sorry for the delays and I’m sorry for not posting for a long while.

I won’t give reasons as why I haven’t been posting, because I hate giving out excuses. I just want to say thank you for still reading after all this time.

I’m going to keep in contact from now on the blog part of this site. One, so this doesn’t happen again and two, so I can share cool junk I find on the interwebs.

Anyways with that being said, Tamarind will make a full return Jan. 30th 2010. That’s the first time I posted Tamarind to the web and I felt it was fitting on when it should return. Plus, it gives me enough time to make a buffer and make sure I don’t get behind.

Anyways, please stay tuned for Jan. 30th. It’s gonna be a heck of a year for a little elf and big orc.

If you’ve been following my twitter feed you know that I am without internet for the time being. Something is goofy and I’m trying to get it fixed as soon as possible. The issue is I just started a new job so finding time to fix it is proving difficult. I’ve been using my phone’s web to do everything else.

That being said. I am continuing to work on my comics and the Roman/Wolfman arc is done, at least over on my end and once I get online again I’ll be posting them. And then we’ll move on to the next story.

Again I apologize for the delay, but Tamarind is not dead or going down or whatever.

On a positive note I did find a little bit of time to go see a late night show of Ponyo. I loved it. You might as well, GO SEE IT.

Hey all, it has been a bit hectic the last couple of weeks for me. Got a new job, looking for apartments and feeding my face.

Anyways, I have news!

Next week I am going to San Diego Comic-Con! Woo! I’m not exhibiting but I will be roaming the halls. I’ll be that guy wearing glasses with messy hair (I’ll stick out like a sore thumb, right?) I’ll be updating where I am via twitter so it can be like a treasure hunt. But instead of gold you get like a sketch!

Now while I’m away, some nice folks made some awesome guest strips. These are great so I hope you enjoy ‘em. So those will go up all week on the normal schedule till I return.

Oh, the forums are gone. Mostly because they were overridden with spam. I will be trying to bring back the comments on the posts though.

Then it’s back to THREE times a week again. Seriously, it’s going to happen. I’m putting up stick figures if it comes down to it.

Hey folks! I need your written and artistic help!

Next month I’m going to a thing in San Diego. Some sort of festival or something. I THINK IT IS ABOUT ELEPHANTS.

But with my jobs I already have enough problems trying to keep to three comics a week. And this impending vacation will only make that harder.

So I am asking for some guest strips! You can make them about anything!

There is one rule though. They have to be PG rated!

Hey guys/gals, I figured I owe you all an explanation on what’s been going on recently and the lack somedays of updates. The truth is I’ve recently started a new job. That is on top of an other job and doing this comic.

This isn’t an excuse for being late though. It’s more me saying that I am getting my act together and the need for a buffer has become greater. I don’t want to go to less then 3 strips a week.

Anyways, thank you all for your continued support. Tamarind isn’t going anywhere but I felt like I should say what’s been going on.

Okay there are some good comics out there. And I never really got around to linking all the ones I like, but here are some of the ones I’ve been reading a lot of lately.

P.S. I’m going to put ratings on each comic cause I like to try to keep this site PG rated. And sometimes the stuff I like curses. If it doesn’t have a rating it should be fine for everybody. Even Timmy…that jerkface.

Hey guys, I posted this in my twitter but I like it so much it’s going in the blog too.

I think this is Studio Ghibli but who ever made it has great character animation. Of all things in animation I love, I really love the little animations that people do without realizing it. And a great animator sees those and uses them when they’re animating characters. Well, that’s what I think.
